So, talk about going into a movie with low expectatons. I thought this would be one of the worst movies that I've ever seen. In fact, it's not. It was entertaining. Very, Very predictable, but entertaining none-the-less. Again prior to seeing this movie, I thought I'd be giving it 1 star, then afterwards, when I had all of that adrenaline running from the fights, I thought, this is at least a 3 star film, but now that I've had time to think about it, it's getting 2.5. It was good, but every sports movie cliche that you could have, it had. I mean, you knew that the brothers would fight in the end and I even guessed (as would any savvy movie watcher) who the Final Four were going to be. As for Nick Nolte, who was nominated for an Academy Award, quite honestly, I don't even know why he was nominated. I thought his performance was just OK. If you have nothing better to watch, see it. Thsi film doesn't break any new ground, but for a sports film, it was alright.
