Tarantino's third best film, behind Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs, is a fun western that does get a little long in places but then comes back and blows you away with some great action. Samuel L. Jackson is great as the Uncle Tom character. He deserves an Academy Award nomination for Supporting Actor. It;s a typical Tarantino film, lots of dialogue, great acting, and loads of references to other films. One of the best films of the year!

I would say not only one of the best of films of the year, but one of the most inventive and daring. Tarantino pushes the envelope at times, but that's why I love the guy - he isn't afraid to take chances where pretty much no one else would go. Jackson was robbed - he's every bit as deserving as Waltz for a nomination - and DiCaprio as well. Can't wait to see what special features they have on this one.
