What an original concept! I loved this film. For those of us that grew up with some of the games that it references, it's also a trip down memory lane. Ralph is a bad-guy who just wants to be liked. He's sick of his job, which is doing the same thing over and over again. My favorite aspect of the film had nothing to do with the story, but the concept that all of these arcade games, (yes, those things used to exist), being interconnected through their plugs is genius. It had a very Toy Story quality, when the lights go off, the games, or toys came to life. I understand that Mario would've been too expensive to get the rights to, but wouldn't that have been great if he could've made a cameo?
