A good vampire film featuring "The" A-list talent of the time, Slater, Pitt, Cruise...Quite an interesting take on the vampire myth. I'm not sure I like the liberties taken by Anne Rice, slightly changing the rules for killing a vampire, basically, you can't, unless you burn them or expose them to sunlight.
The sets are fantastic, (Dante Ferretti and Francesca Lo Schiavo were nominated for Best Art Direction and Set Decoration at the Academy Awards), as is the cinematography.
Really a interesting film that keeps you entertained throughout.
