Yes, dinosaurs are back

One of the few times that I was pleasantly surprised by a film. It exceeded my expectations. I realized that I like Chris Pratt as an actor, he does a great job doing whatever it is that he does. It's hard to believe that 22 years after the first film, the dinosaurs don't really look all that much better on-screen. That also shows the time and care that Spielberg put into the original.
I also have to say that this is the first "summer" movie in years that I've been excited about. I had to see this.
My only complaint, the children. They annoyed me. I kind of wish that they would have been eaten. That right there just screamed to me that Spielberg had more to do with this than he's letting on. It's the E.T. idea, that if you put children in horrible situations, but let them survive, it will pull you in emotionally. It worked in E.T. not here.
But, this is a true must see film, it's better than The Avengers.
