Perhaps a little too slow, but nevertheless, for a crime drama, it sets a high standard. Its downbeat and never plays the sauve card like other crime films, instead it exists in its own little sinister world. Alain Delon is the quiet, brooding lead the film shadows. And it contains a great heist scene, shot in real time and with very little sound. Like you're right there with them. Definately worth your time.
