Titanic is a movie I find myself compelled to watch every couple of years. Its a film where I accept its many many flaws and see it for what it was: A cinematic spectacle.
The script is horrible, the characters one dimensional, which make the actors seem uncomfortable (only Billy Zane really gives it some effort) and Director Cameron and Composer James Horner oversweeten almost every scene, but as entertainment, it works wonderfully. There are several moments in the film I really despise but no doubt in another couple of years I will watch it and enjoy it all over again.
