A superbly crafted pre-slasher that is really a slasher itself. Building suspense, eerie music, mystery, and some chilling phone calls. Almost completely bloodless and relying on the simplest of mechanics, which Halloween obviously borrowed from. It all works to really scare you. Open ended and ripe for a sequel it never received one, which I see as a good thing. If you are a fan of Halloween and such films, then you MUST check this out. Everyone else should too just for the fact that it is a really good and scary horror film.
