Fun Remake

This is another unnecessary re-make, but that doesn't mean that it's not a good movie. Where other remakes have failed, this one succeeds. It's story is similar and different enough, from the 1985 original, that it manages to be it's own film and pay homage at the same time. Also like the original, it stirs the right blend of horror and comedy. It's a well made flick that is just plain fun. Feels mildly refreshing in a year filled with bad 'horror' films at the box office.
