Most people's critique of this film only point out the visuals and the profoundly meaningful aspects. Those are both handled masterfully, but this poetically themed un-war film left me cold. Despite understanding the film's intentions, I was still not engaged in any way. The presentation felt like being lectured to and I was just bored overall.
