Cronenberg sets up this bizarrely interesting world of sexual fetishes with cars. Brutal accidents awaken weird desires in people who can't be aroused normally. I was into this premise and ready to see where it would go. But alas, it doesn't really go anywhere. Beginning to end, it's just a repetitive process of sex, vehicle accidents, and a combination of the two. Truly disappointed in this semi-exploitave picture.
