Cronenberg's Most Confusing and Strange
Unknown - wrote on 05/06/12
A film not just based on the novel of the same name, but also contains autobiographical moments from the author's life. It's many bizarre images melted together with the main character's confused writing process do offer some strange and paranoid scenes. The whole movie has a slightly noir feel to it. A more difficult Cronenberg film to fathom, but that's what makes it appealing. It's constantly confusing nature makes it harder to get into on first viewing.
