This third sequel clings close to the series' formula and doesn't offer anything new. No added backstory or surprises to be found here. It's all just long stretches of quiet punctuated by a 'boo' scare. The rest is mediocre fare, with only two creative moments. It suffers from being uninspired rehash of the highest order. Though the young lead actress was surprisingly good. She made it more bearable.

That's exactly what I figured after seeing the trailers - I'll probably catch this when I rent or stream it.
