Michael Shannon's portrayal of this real life hit-man is frighteningly believable. We find some reason for his profession choice, a look into his personality (past the cold demeanor), and even a small hint of sympathy generated by an emotional final moment that lasts well after the credits roll. The film covers a ton of plot in it's average run-time, but it was well paced. With as great as Shannon is here, I would've liked to see more from this story. It just left me wanting more. This is a definite watch for anyone who enjoys crime dramas, or Michael Shannon's tremendous acting ability.
