A Nympho's Tale: Part 2

As I stated in my 'Nymphomaniac: Volume 1' review, I'm viewing both parts as one complete whole. The second half of the story plays much the same as the first, in terms of all the positives I listed in the previous review. But, where Vol. 1 had it's dramatic ups and downs, Vol. 2 is all downs. Still very much thoughtful, but a bit more of an emotional ride. Things are taken to darker places and it seems our character is regressing in any attempts to better herself. Her habits are changing for worse and she has befriended bad people. There's not much more to say. I liked the second half of the story every bit as much. Many viewers have cried out at the depressing nature of the second part. I don't see how that is an issue, when you can obviously tell that's where the story was going right from the opening of the first part. And those same ones do not appreciate the ending. I was taken aback by the sudden switch in character in the final moment, but I found it interestingly unpredictable and fitting for the overall theme of the story.
