I like the cross-genre (but not genre specific) story. It's anything but typical or predictable. The movie just flows into each scene creating it's own narrative entity. This format doesn't allow for any real tone to be established. I found it weirdly entertaining for this reason. Banderas and Abril are quite engaging, despite playing unlikable people. The resolution didn't satisfy. There felt a lack of reasoning for a major (and quick) change of heart. Worth seeking for it's uniqueness and specific memorable moments. I've certainly never seen anything like it.
