'Good Kill' is a conflicted character piece involving a timely issue. The film does an excellent job at accurately showing the process of drone warfare from the pilot seat. The images on the monitors all look convincingly real. This eases us into the inner turmoil felt by our main character. We feel exactly as he does when faced with the morally askew repercussions of his ordered actions. All of the soldier characters have their own personal views that are opposite each other. Yet, none of them are ever completely concrete in their stance. It shows just how unnecessarily confusing this whole approach to warfare is. There's no clear cut right or wrong answer. But no matter what, there will always be terrible consequences.
