I like Tom Cruise. I liked the pacing and unfolding of the mystery at hand. I liked the cheeky wit to the humor. I loved the way the action was shot. I just didn't care as much for the story. Not all of the plot reveals were smooth and the resolution wasn't all too satisfying given that I found the plan behind it all to be kind of mundane to the circumstances. It's a shame, because the first thirty minutes were quite awesome. Felt like a departure from the normal procedure of these types of movies. I still mostly enjoyed this movie for the positives I mentioned up front.
