'Caged No' Stars

'Caged No More' is not a movie. Yes, it is a collection of recorded scenes acted out by performers. That's pretty much where the criteria for a 'film' begins and ends here. I can barely fathom the words to describe how poorly made and unwatchable this entire "thing" is. Every scene barely connects to the rest. The story/plot are almost nonexistent. We are dropped into a situation with random characters and little explanation as to their purpose. It's not until the halfway point when crucial details (to ANY story) are finally told. We get a terrible narration from a certain lead character a couple of times that adds nothing. There are major gaps in every aspect of the (lost) narrative. So much feels missing; it's to the point of incomprehension. In some cases this signals when a fully fledged piece has been gutted by editing, or other means. Here it feels as if the original template was always a tattered mess. In the finale, we are shown a short series of recognizable people all telling us that human sex trafficking is still around and should be done away with for good. Of course, they never emphasize as to what extent this problem reaches, nor tell us steps we can take to help their cause. It's exactly like one of those brief infomercials you see on television that show those in need and simply say: "Call this number to donate". This IS the sole reason that 'Caged No More' exists. So why did they take the time to pass off an inept piece of garbage as "entertainment", if all they wanted was to do an infomercial? Seriously, what the hell?! You wanted people to join your cause, but instead you've just wasted an hour and a half of anyone's time who is looking for something to watch. We are left with no reason to care about what I assume to be a true injustice. That's why 'Caged No More' fails even harder than previously possible.
