'My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2' completely does away with the simple charm of the first film. The exaggerated (but likable) characters are over-exaggerated here. Most of the jokes are way too hokey and obvious to warrant any laughs. Everyone delivers stupid lines, followed by stupid facial expressions, while they pause for a non-present laugh track. It's like watching a badly written two-part episode of a lame sitcom.
