My Week with Marilyn

The movie felt a little bit like a documentary. The way it was shot and edited. Not bad. But just with someone documented about this event. The acting of this movie is incredibly strong. Williams and Branagh are wonderful. Both Oscar-worthy. Eddie Redmayne does a well job and Watson and Dench are as usual good.
The movie is directed pretty and the cinematography is good. The costumes were wonderful.
The script was the weak spot of the movie. If the story is real the writer must have changed a lot of things which gave the movie an unrealistic touch. Moreover, the movie was moving very slow.
The editing of the movie was really strange it felt like they had to do very many takes, to film one scene. For example: Colin hands Sir Laurence a cigar. In the next shot Sir Laurence is smoking it already.
My week with Marilyn is a sweet movie but not astonashing
