The first fifteen minutes are terrible, and I came very close to giving up on it. I'm glad I didn't, however, because the film stepped up and grabbed me with its love story (a genre I don't always care for). By the end, I was surprised by how much the movie had involved me. Stick with it, and you'll be fine, especially if you enjoy 1930s films (like I do).
