Amongst all the vampire flicks that scour and scourge our planet (especially with those dreadful "Twilight" flicks), Anne Rice's "Interview With the Vampire" is a stunning first-rate above-them-all thriller that tops even John Carpenter's wily characters. "Interviews" is a stunning, hypnotic tale of a young man who becomes a vampire against his will and hungers after guilt, while all the while being seduced into the lifestyle by two thirsty masters. A powerfully beautiful cast that includes Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt, Antonia Banderas, and Kirsten Dunst. A great directorial achievement for Neil Jordan and beautiful writing from the Queen of Scream: Anne Rice.
