Its purpose is heinous and diabolical but the way that it's made is extraordinary. Leni Riefenstahl is remembered as a Nazi tool (as she should be) these days but man she knew what she was doing. The editing and the special effects to demonstrated whatever the hell Adolf Hitler was trying to get across are way ahead of their time. The effectiveness of the imagery onscreen is downright chilling at times.
