The 'Phantom Menace' of comedies. It's decent enough but the media coverage and the fact this actually caused an international incident should suggest that the film is better than what it is. It's not. Seth Rogen and James Franco are fine together and the supporting cast is funny. The best moments are when it milks the premise for what its worth. Such bits include a montage of Franco bonding with Kim Jong Un who's actually made into a funny character who remains scary in retrospect.
