The Judas Contract sports some good action and a big cast of DC characters. It's well animated like other recent additions to the DC animated movie canon. But the story is too fast paced for its own good and the expected character development to make up for that is nearly nonexistent. As a result, when a certain character switches sides it seems more contrived as a plot convenience than actual earnestness. The antagonist Brother Blood is a bit too on the nose for a commentary on religious extremism. However, returning villain Deathstroke is a plus and the voicework of the late Miguel Ferrer is a perfect fit.
