A superior followup to the near abominable Annabelle (2014) that amps up the suspense and is legitimately scary. What's impressive is that most of the cast are child actors and young adults. Like in an 80s horror movie, they hold their own. The music and camerawork enhance the tension to create a truly chilling setting. That doll is still terrifying.
