A talky 'thriller' about an aviation expert convinced that the plane he's traveling on will malfunction mid-flight but everyone thinks he's crazy. James Stewart plays a more introverted and quirky character than audiences are probably used to. It's amusing but also a little too strange to be believable. Marlene Dietrich and Glynis Johns fare much better as two different women (an actress and a stewardess) who believe his warning and become his staunchest allies.
