A admirable effort to recapture the suspense of earlier Agatha Christie adaptations. The film is nearly crippled by its camerawork which is more suitable for an ITV miniseries. The twists and turns do keep the viewer engaged. It's interesting than some recent Christie films because the emphasis on female characters. Glenn Close, Gillian Anderson, and Christina Hendricks all give good performances. The conclusion does feel rushed though to get to the final twist.
