James Bond meets...Cliffhanger?

An unusual entry into the spy-thriller genre. Clint Eastwood directs and stars as Doctor Jonathan Hemlock, a college professor, art collector, mountain climber and professional assassin.
But retired in the assassination game. That is until his albino ex-Nazi boss (yes really) forces him into one last assignment: find the suspect behind the murder of a colleague...and kill them. The challenge? Eastwood has to join an expedition to the treacherous Alps and eliminate the target amidst a thousand foot drop.
Eastwood juggles a lot of different genres in this action adventure. The political themes and Cold War subtext does feel dated. But the performances are all good. The main draw are the action scenes where Clint Eastwood admirably performed all his own mountain climbing stunts. They're literally jaw dropping.
