Veteran British director Roger Donaldson delivers a solid heist thriller in the aptly titled THE BANK JOB. Jason Statham's terse tough guy persona fits the movie's hardboiled style like a glove. Saffron Burrows is a sexy femme fatale and Statham's old flame who approaches him for a daring bank robbery. Based off a true story too.
