A fun twisty whodunit with a pair of great performances by Michael Caine and Christopher Reeve. Caine is good as always but Christopher Reeve gives arguably his best dramatic performance as the amiable if ambitious Clifford. Dyan Cannon isn't bad and some moments with her are funny, but she has an annoying shrieking scream. It's as bad as Kate Capshaw in Temple of Doom or Kim Basinger in Batman.
