An emotionally resonant family film that does have laughs to spare but it's not afraid to let dramatic moments be dramatic. Wahlberg and Byrne are immediately likable foster parents. Isabela Moner shakes off the stench from her debut in Transformers 5 and gives a good performance. Refreshing change of pace from the typical cookie-cutter kid's film these days
