Well, it passes the low bar set by Men in Black 2 but it's nowhere close to recapturing the slick charm of the first movie or even the fun of the 3rd one. It's a breezy sit but it doesn't leave much of an impression. The theme music is used at the wrong moments and its familiar visual style doesn't help it stand out from other blockbusters today.
The only one who seems to be going for it all the way is Rebecca Ferguson as a wily alien weapons merchant. Hemsworth and Thompson aren't necessarily bad. They retain the warm friendly chemistry from the Marvel movies but they're not giving it their 100 percent neither.
