It’s Pulp Fiction meets Rounders. Cuz the world needed that. The hyped up ensemble cast is mostly phoning it in. Thandie Newton is lovely and Sylvester Stallone is stoic as ever. They really did hold my attention since they’re blessed with natural charisma. The incredibly bland Stuart Townsend is front and center at the expense of Jamie Foxx? Not cool. The movie looks like it was shot as a HBO miniseries instead of a theatrical release.
