Melodrama about an honorable but ruthless policeman (Huston) and his crusade to smash a crime syndicate. His weak willed brother (Ford) may sabotage it to curry favor with a duplicitous gun moll (Harlow). Good action scenes. Hard-boiled unforgiving tone.
