Light and easygoing comedy starring John Wayne and Lee Marvin as two rambunctious ex-sailors who brawl, drink, and have misadventures on a beautiful South Pacific island. Once the daughter of a navy buddy shows up, hoping to find a means to deny him an inheritance, they scramble to help their friend. Gorgeous scenery and the cast is having fun.
