Mammoth miniseries about the Greek hero Odysseus and his quest to return home to his wife after fighting the Trojan War. Except he angered the god Poseidon who forces Odysseus to encounter monsters, traps, seductresses, and more. Assante is pretty good as the tough but crafty hero. Some of the effects for the monsters are wonky but I'm a bit forgiving since it's from a 1997 miniseries.
