Is it campy? Sure, but it's leagues better than the 2013 Disney version that cost over $200 million yet had a worse script. Clayton Moore is also much more heroic as the Lone Ranger and while it's iffy to hear Tonto speak in broken English, he's less of a joke character than whatever Johnny Depp was doing. The plot moves at a fast clip and doesn't waste time.
