Horrendous hodgepodge that felt like a self-parody

Yeah this was pretty bad. Even for a lame Liam Neeson action thriller. Sad that is now a sub-genre. Liam Neeson shouldn't have to settle for making these crappy movies. He's a great actor, we know this by now.
As for this movie, it's just another 'conspiracy chase' kind of story that you saw dozens of times before in several other movies. It feels like a bad Jason Bourne movie in fact more than anything else. Maybe with a little bit of the 'Taken' movies thrown in as well. Aidan Quinn is the villain and he looks bored (also he looks like shit).
What's kind of funny though I believe it was unintentional is how much the movie feels like a softened version of all those conspiracy theories you keep hearing from QAnon believers about the Deep State and whatnot. If the filmmakers were intelligent people, this could had been a fun subversive approach to this type of plot. But they can't even be bothered to do that.
