Exquisite cinematography makes the flying sequences look spectacular. I had the good fortune to watch a copy remastered in Technicolor. The movie looks fantastic. James Cagney is fine as a hotshot pilot training for the Canadians during World War 2. The story is kind of predictable though and no one else really stands out. t's funny to see elements that will be later utilized in the 'TOP GUN' movies. Despite its narrative faults, the flying scenes look great and are worth a look.
