Italian-produced adaptation of the classic horror tale. Very cheap looking but the costumes look kind of nice. The makeup is bad though it does look ugly for the creature in question. Rosalba Neri is an alluring presence but the dubbing makes her performance seem wooden. It's deeply weird seeing a veteran actor like Joseph Cotton in this movie but I guess he needed the movie.
