An early entry into Brian De Palma's extensive filmography, this creepy thriller has a memorably wild turn by Margot Kidder as a vivacious young woman who happens to be a twin. Her more disturbed other half commits a murder and now a suspicious neighbor takes up solving what happened. De Palma's direction is quite stylish. It makes good use of the split-screen technique. It also has a morbid sense of humor in the tradition of Alfred Hitchcock.
