Trainwreck whose stars likely got a big check

Infamous flop that pretty much wastes its cast and crew on a lot of unfunny jokes and tacky potshots at Cold War politics. The movie takes forever to get started. And when you think the movie is really gonna kick off...it's over.
During the film's runtime, audiences are just treated to Dustin Hoffman and Warren Beatty running through fake sets of an Arab country or arguing with a blind camel in the desert. If there is a single positive thing I can compliment the movie about, it is that Charles Grodin is actually giving a solid performance that deserves a better movie.
And the movie feels so small despite being so expensive;at the time this was the 4th most costly movie ever made. And it doesn't show the money onscreen. Not in the art direction or the action scenes or just feeling like a big epic comedy. It's a waste of time.
