Supernatural thriller clearly trying to rip-off 'The Omen" (1976). Kirk Douglas is actually not bad though and Simon Ward has a creepy screen presence. The music is pretty good too, and I was surprised to learn that it was Ennio Morricone! But the movie is just not that scary. It takes itself seriously enough but the nightmare scenes and surreal imagery is more hokey than creepy.
