This western takes the familiar set-up of a cowboy guiding settlers through Indian territory. Here we got a suspected killer helping out a bunch of teenagers after an Apache attack. Richard Widmark is good as the reluctant guide. The movie does manage to be exciting and funny despite some dramatic moments. The Arizona locations also look gorgeous.
