I started out actually enjoying this movie in the first twenty minutes. It had some decent fight scenes and snappy dialogue. I was interested in Mark Wahlberg's predicament when we first meet him. But then it gets very predictable. Even for a buddy cop movie. The villain reveal is painfully obvious and the mystery is not that original. I do like Wahlberg and Winston Duke as a team though. And honestly, the most entertaining performance is by Iliza Shlesinger as the motormouthed girlfriend.
