Much to my surprise, this was an absolute delight. My only complaint is that not every familiar Transformers character gets enough screentime. And the humor does not always land. But I hope they make a sequel. You would think that Chris Hemsworth was shameless stunt casting as Optimus Prime but he is a natural fit taking over for the great Peter Cullen. Brian Tyree Henry is wonderfully menacing as Megatron. The animation looked cheap in the trailers but it looks gorgeous when you actually watch the movie. Seriously, the marketing did this movie dirty. It's a great addition to the Transformers franchise.
