Action: 3/3 + Comedy: 1/2 + Good vs Evil: 1/1 + Love/Sex: 1/1 + Special Effects: 1/1 + Plot: 1/1 + Music: 1/1 = 9/10 or 90%.
An embodiment of horrific fears: rape, stalking, assault, murder- just to name a few. Add to those the element of the unknown and we have the terrifying enemy of the mother of all things extra-terrestrial in cinema. The cast is strong, as is the plot, and for once the horror and sci-fi genres mix to perfection. Oh, lest we forget, Sigourney Weaver qualifies herself as the queen of badasses.
