A 1968 groundbreaking cult phenomenon that executes suspense and horror better than most modern horror cinema can. While the Zombies aren't as quick, aggressive, and terrifying as 28 Days Later they do show more intelligence (they use rocks to break car windows for example, and let's not forget the daughter who uses a garden utensil to perfection on mom) than the props in such films as the Resident Evil franchise. It is fascinating to watch the introduction of Zombies, particularly in such a fine crafted piece of cinema.
